In Youssef Sida's work [...] we see the essential mysteries encoded in everyday experience in the city.

Youssef Sida has been specialising in analogue photography with a focus on street and reportage. Sida's work ranges from idyllic landscapes to the busy metropolitan life of city living. From the mundane to carefully orchestrated compositions, the limitation of Sida's medium enforce a careful deliberation of each frame taken.

Sida describes photography as "heightened perception", in which the artist must recognise and act upon fleeting moments. His street work focuses on varying socio-economic groups, often exposing the imbalance prevalent in modern society.
